The Undergraduate Admissions Office processes
all freshman, transfer and non-degree applications for admission
to the more than 150 majors offered at the University of Idaho.

All graduate admissions decisions are made at
the departmental level with final admission granted by the College
of Graduate Studies. Admission is granted only to a specific degree
and program; and initial admission is granted for a specific semester
or summer session.

New UI students (or those not enrolled in the
past 2 years) must apply for admission. Current UI students should
register online.

Requests for transcripts must be received in
writing. Normal processing time is 3-5 business days after receipt
of request.

New undergraduate students need only to submit
a complete admissions application (which includes the Scholarship
Supplement Form ) and their transcript and test scores to the
Admissions Office in order to be considered for merit-based scholarships
and out-of-state tuition waivers. These documents must be received
by February 15 to be given priority consideration.
Incoming graduate students provide all necessary
information with the Graduate
Application for Admissions; no separate forms are necessary.

Student Financial Aid Services works with federal
and private programs to help students fund their education, including
scholarships, grants, loans, work-study or a combination of these
